Congratulations to Elijah Pula for signing his Letter of Intent to attend Western Oregon University and play collegiate football for the Wolves.

Elijah has played football all 4 years at Bethel High School, including being selected as an SPSL All League 1st Team Linebacker for the 2023 season.  He is excited to join the WOU team because they made him feel at home when he visited.  The school, coaches and people on campus made him feel welcome and supported.  He also really enjoyed the interactions with his coaches.

Elijah is really excited to get the chance to continue his football career at the next level, growing as a student athlete and man, while meeting new people.  His favorite experience is the part many athletes don't like...PRACTICE...everyday!  It gave him a chance to talk and hangout with the guys, and it was a place where the players didn't have to worry about anything but football.

Elijah is most appreciative of his parents because they've helped him more than he could have ever asked or deserved, and wants to thank God for blessing him with such a great support system.  Coach Domser and Coach Talen said that he has helped to set the tone for our program and our district.  His loyalty and dedication to hard work is why he's been as successful as he is.  Elijah's parents wanted to tell the coaches thank you for always believing in him, and that the village was there to support their son.  They also reminded Elijah to be humble, determined, and be the hardest worker out there.  Always believe in yourself, and all of your dreams will be realized.  We wish you all the best.
