Benjamin Block
Football - University of Puget Sound
Congratulations to Ben Block for his commitment and signing his Letter of Intent to attend the University of Puget Sound while majoring in Kinesiology and playing college football.
Ben loved the campus and appreciates the value that the university puts into its programs and facilities. He was grateful that they showed him interest as an athlete, and he is excited to get a chance to realize his childhood dreams to play college football and get a college degree.
Ben's favorite memory of his time at Bethel High School was going to the football camp in Wenatchee last summer and being a part of the Cambridge Program. He is also very appreciative of having had the opportunity to play football at a high level as a member of the Bison program.
Coach Domser said that Ben was always ready to play! He is a perfect example of what it means to be a student athlete. Being able to play college football at UPS is an added bonus as a result of all of that hard work. This has definitely been earned!
His parents reflected stating that he was 6' 7" as a sophomore, and has been a true champion on and off the field. Their proudest days were to be there with you. Mom is excited about the opportunity and said he's just getting into his football prime. Dad shared that today was a culmination of all of the work he's put in from elementary and youth programs, Bethel Middle School, and as a member of the Bison program. Hard work will always pay off, and you can't fake hard work.
Congratulations Ben!
