Cambridge Program
The International Cambridge program is an academic magnet program offered free to high school students in the Bethel school district who are looking for a rigorous college preparatory/dual credit program.
- It is a school within a school 4-year commitment. Math, Science, English, and History-- all at an accelerated level for all 4 years.
- Courses prepare students to take the Cambridge exams in May. Each exam passed earns college credit for the course. Students will take a minimum of 8 college exams over their 4 years.
- Students can earn the Prestigious Cambridge Diploma by earning points for each exam score. This is an international honor.
- All US and UK universities accept Cambridge International qualifications, and it is considered a rigorous program. Most universities weigh Cambridge courses higher than community college courses. Look at the UW credits awarded for Cambridge courses to see what credits would be earned for specific courses.
